Introducing the EISA Compliant FD 9000 Series
Customers asked and CMI Doors delivered on the new FD 9000 series to meet the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA)
The FD 9000 Double Acting Impact Traffic Door is a 3 1/2" thick foamed in place panel with an internal dual welded steel frame all faced with an abrasive resistant ABS that offers an R25 - EISA compliant rating.

9000 Series CFIA F3 and F4 approved
The CMI Doors CF9000, FX9000, SR9000, RT9000 have been approved by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) for Canadian Government Registered Food Processing Establishments.
The approval is broken into two catagories.
F3 - Doors which will have incidental/accidental food contact
F4 - Doors or curtains, through which only packaged protected products pass
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency evaluates the chemical and physical suitability of the materials in relation to their intended use. CMI Doors provided proof that all surfaces can be constructed to be smooth, level, hard and impervious to moisture and that they are durable and easy to clean. In doing this a sample was provided of the doors along with complete data of chemical compositions, physical characteristics and resistance to adverse conditions.

NSF Approval For The 9000 Series Is Complete
The SR 9000 family has been approved by NSF International, this approval confirms that NSF has assessed -- and certifies -- the 9000 series conforms to the relevant NSF/ANSI standard. As part of this process CMI's production facility is audited annually to assure that all the requirements of the standard continue to be met and that quality assurance and quality control procedures are followed in fabrication. This certification is a testament to our quality in construction and manufacturing practices which are never overlooked at CMI Doors.
